Dental implants are placed into either the upper or lower jaw and impressions are taken for the next stage.
This procedure is most commonly performed under local anaesthetic, but can also be performed under sedation.
The teeth are set in wax and tried in your mouth within 2 hours after surgery. Any necessary adjustments are made as required. As a result, you will be able to see what your teeth look like before we finish.
Your replacement teeth are inserted allowing you to smile with confidence.
We then ask you to follow a soft diet for 10-14 days so as not to hinder bone integration with the placed dental implants

Treatment Procedure for All-On-Four® Implants
Construction of the teeth or use existing teeth
If a patient does not have a satisfactory set of denture teeth:
This will take several visits with a series of impressions to allow the dentist to construct the teeth (either upper or lower or both). Once you are happy with the final shape and size of the teeth, the laboratory will make us a template where the implants will be placed.
If the patient does have a good set of denture teeth:
We can use your current dentures for the initial stage. Some changes will be made towards your denture teeth to allow the implants to be inserted. Again templates will be made to assist the implant surgery.
Dental implants are placed into either the upper or lower jaw under local anaesthetics. Once placed, an impression is done to allow the technician to construct the teeth.
Try-in/impression of the teeth
The technician will use the impression to prepare the final teeth and this will be ready within 2 hours after surgery. Any necessary adjustments are made as required
Fit at the end of the surgery
your replacement teeth are inserted and screwed in place allowing you to smile with confidence.
We will then ask you to follow a soft diet for 10-14 days so as not to hinder bone integration with the placed dental implants.
After 3 months of total healing the denture may become loose, the patient will be given an option to either to continue with their existing teeth or replace them with a new set of porcelain teeth.
